Intel's link to war Crimes in Israel

NEW YORK- Columnist/Internet/radio Broadcaster Andy Martin will present a special Internet/radio news conference Tuesday, July 16th at 1:00 P.M. to begin a world boycott of Intel products because of Intel's links to war crimes in Israel.

"Intel built its second largest international fabrication plant in Israel, on land stolen by Israel from Palestinians after express, written guarantees by Israel that it would protect the Palestinians, respect their property and respect international law. Israel, the most notorious violator of International law since the Third Reich, then violated its own agreement, stole the land, and later sold the stolen land to Intel.

"It is basic law that a thief can confer no title to another party. Palestinians have rights to that land. Because Intel is an American company, it can and will be sued in the United States to recover the property or pay fair compensation. In a recent case, Bigio v. Coca-Cola, 239 F.3rd 440 (2nd Cir. 2000) the court addressed similar facts and found justiciable issues.

"Professor Francis Boyle of the University of Illinois College of Law will be a special guest on the July 18th program to discus the legal issues raised by the Intel factory.

"In the meantime, I am announcing a world boycott of Intel products. Maybe when Intel is hit in the pocketbook it will think twice about dealing with nations that have manifested contempt for human life and international law such as the Israel. Computer consumers can boycott Intel products and purchase products from competing producers.

"Human rights have been a basic part of American foreign policy since the Carter Administration. Even before then, the United States always fought for oppressed peoples. The same laws that eventually protected and required return of stolen Jewish property in Europe now protect stolen Palestinian property in Israel. Victims of the Nazi Holocaust have been active in using U.S. Courts to seek compensation. I believe victims of the Israeli Holocaust against the Palestinians must now do likewise.

"The world boycott of Intel products will focus attention on American corporate complicity with the crimes of the Israeli regime," says Martin. "I present the facts. My world audience can draw its own conclusions. As a supporter of both Israel and Palestine, I am disappointed and distressed by the latest controversy involving Israeli abuses.
