When: Saturday August 10 starting at 1:00 P.M.We will start serving food at 2:00 Pm.
Where: Lake Sammamish State Park
Menu: Meat Kabobs, Hummus, Roasted Veggies, Salad, Drinks, and Dessert. catered by The Mediterranean Kitchen Express.
Prices: $10.00 per adult and 6.00 per child. (6-15 Yrs). Family packages are available.
*** All proceeds will go to the 2003 Arab Festival ***
ACW is having a picnic At Lake Sammamish State Park for our community members and friends on Saturday August 10. Food will be catered by The Mediterranean Kitchen Express and served by the Arab Festival Food Committee volunteers. Please let us know if you are coming in order to plan for enough food. Lake Sammamish State Park is located off Interstate Highway 90, Exit # 15. Signs will be available to direct you to the picnic location. The Center will provide Volleyball, Soccer, Tawlet Zahr. You may bring other games, additional drinks, Dessert, Argeela, etc….

Time: Monday-Thursday, 10:00-3:00 and Friday, 10:00-5:00
Ages: 6-12 year olds
Teenagers: Counselor-In-Training (CIT) program for 13-18 year olds
Adults: Mini-Camp Brown Bag lunches, 12:00-1:30
Families: Potluck Dinner and Performance on Friday, 5:00
Location: 1125 Harvard Ave East, Capitol Hill, at the home of Kay Bullitt
The Middle East Peace Camp is created jointly with Arab and Jewish Communities to build bridges to peace for our children. The camp program includes art, games, sports, singing, drama, cooking, and much more! The camp is open to all children—Arab, Jewish and others. The Counselors-in-training will be both Arab and Jewish teenagers. The creators and teachers of the Middle East Peace Camp bring a wealth of talent, knowledge and understanding that will make this week an important one for your child and for peace. We hope that through the week children, teenagers and adults will take another step toward peace through friendship and knowledge. John Trombold has worked in a newsroom and has taught numerous writing workshops, including techniques for presenting complex political issues. He is also the author of several articles, including an op-ed in the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, "Asking Hard Questions for Peace." His 90-minute workshop will strengthen your letter-writing skills and teach you techniques for writing powerful, publishable letters.
