Emergency benefit for the Arab American Action Network

On December 3rd, 2001, a fire caused by arson damaged the offices of the Arab American Action Network (AAAN)--a grass roots, community-based organization serving Arab Americans and Arab immigrants in Chicago. The fire destroyed most of the AAAN's files, computers, electronic equipment, and office furniture.

Please join us in helping to rebuild and continue our important work at this critical time in the arab community.

The Sharq ensemble, directed by Issa Boulos, will perform traditional, Middle Eastern music at:

The Chicago Cultural Center's Preston Bradley Hall (78 E. Washington St.--Corner of Michigan ave. And Washington st.)

Sunday, January 27th, 2002, at 3 pm.

Regular-priced tickets: $50.
Student and community rate: $25.

Tickets will be held at will call, or you may purchase them at the door.
