Dear Brothers and Sisters
There will be a group of representatives of eight theater professionals from
the West Bank and Gaza touring your city in the near future. They are being
brought here by the Department of State/Bureau of Educational and Cultural
Affairs as part of the International Visitor Program. These visitors are
usually entrusted to local international centers that usually do a good job
addressing the professional needs of these visitors but lack in putting them
in touch with the local Arab or Palestinian Communities. This contact is of
vital importance to our communities here and to the represented groups from
there. Below I have listed the phone contact and the dates during which this
group will be in your cities. If any of you can make the time to contact and
meet these people and spend some time with them playing host and friend it
will be wonderful. We here in Louisville were fortunate enough to be part of
their tour. Our contact with them and their visit was the utmost of rewards.
To contact this group please contact: George Ibrahim or Edward Muallem
